Regestum

Five Istrian communities – Pula, Rovinj, Poreč, Novigrad and Umag – pledge their fealty to the doge of Venice and his successors, promising military support, a variety of symbolic tributes to St. Mark, the patron saint of Venice, and to the doges, guaranteeing the safety of all the Venetians in their jurisdictions and abolishing all the dues for Venetian traders.

Regestum

The communes of Piran and Rovinj sign a peace treaty under specific terms, including war reparations of twenty silver marks paid by Piran to Rovinj, mutual protection of persons and goods, prohibition of military cooperation with Koper against Rovinj, and binding oaths from all household heads to maintain the agreement under penalty of one hundred marks.

Bishop Boniface of Poreč invests Count Albert I of Gorizia, by way of his official proxy Ottolino of Koper, with all the fiefs his family holds from the Bishopric of Poreč, with the sole exception of the Gradule mill, and receives the oath of fealty in return.
