Henry IV, King of the Romans, donates properties in Piran and Novigrad in the March of Istria to the monastery of Saint Andrew in Freising under the jurisdiction of the Bishopric of Freising and its bishop Ellenhardus.

Heinricus divina favente clementia rex Romanorum Augustus.

Omnium fidelium nostrorum tam presentium quam et futurorum pie devotioni pateat, quem ad modum nos pro ęterna retributione et pro anima patris nostri bone memorie Heinrici Romanorum imperatoris Augusti obque peticionem et interventum dilecti nostri Annonis scilicet Coloniensis archiepiscopi nec non ob devotum et fidele servitium Ellenhardi Frisingensis sedis episcopi quasdam nostri iuris proprietates ad fiscum nostrum pertinentes in Marcha Histria et in Comitatu marchionis Ǒdalrici inque blocis subnotatis, id est in Pyrian et Niwenburch sitas cum omnibus utilitatibus ad eas rite pertinentibus, hoc est mancipiis utriusque sexus, areis, ędificiis, terris cultis et incultis, agris, pratis, campis, pascuis, silvis, aquis aquarumque decursibus, navium, stationibus, theloneis, molendinis, viis et inviis, exitibus et reditibus, quesitis et inquirendis cunctisque aliis appenditiis, que ullo modo dici vel nominari possunt, ad monasterium Sancti Andree apostoli in civitate Frisinga a prefato eiusdem civitatis episcopo in Dei nomine iniciatum et constructum ex proprio in proprium donavimus, ea videlicet ratione ut fratribus inibi Deo militantibus, in quantum ex eisdem bonis provideri possit, ad divinum officium peragendum victus et vestitus singulis annis subministrentur.

Et ut hęc tradicio nostra nunc et in futuro tempore stabilis et inconvulsa permaneat, hoc regię donationis preceptum inde conscriptum sigilli nostril impressione iussimus insigniri manuque propria, ut infra videtur, corroboravimus atque firmavimus.
